We’ll be celebrating African-American magazines throughout the month of February.
Jet magazine, 1950s
Jet was founded in 1951 as “The Weekly Negro News Magazine.” It was published by Johnson Publishing, who also published Ebony. Herbert Temple was Jet’s longtime art director.
This colorization is beautifull. Bright, crisp and dynamic colors make this picture one of my favourite Magnus pics on deviantART.
